Sustainable biofuel, protein and biomass production using oil seed producing trees in the restoration of degraded land

Forest-Friendly Restoration That Benefits People and the Planet

We reforest large areas of degraded land using a forest-friendly model that combines:

  • High-value oil seed tree zones that produce seeds for biofuel and protein and biomass for fuel and carbon sequestration
  • Extensive areas of indigenous habitat restoration, enriched with tree planting to ensure pollination of the trees and restore ecosystem services and biodiversity – financed by the oil seed trees and the voluntary carbon market.

Empowering Communities Through Regeneration

Our projects are built in partnership with local communities.

  • Create thousands of skilled, fairly paid jobs
  • Transform degraded land into lasting, productive assets
  • Support agroforestry and silvopastoral systems that improve both land and livelihoods
  • Enhance local ecosystem services

Protecting Reforested Land for the Long Term

By providing economic opportunities and sustainable alternatives to slash-and-burn agriculture, we ensure that restored or reforested areas are protected, managed, and preserved—breaking the cycle of deforestation and building resilient rural economies.

This is restoration and reforestation with purpose – designed to regenerate land, restore dignity, and redefine what’s possible for people and nature.

A society grows great when old men plant trees in whose shade they shall never sit.” — Greek Proverb

Large-Scale Restoration That’s Forest-Friendly — and Community-First

Our model is both forest-friendly and community-focused, designed to regenerate land while creating lasting economic and social value.

We partner directly with local communities, leasing degraded and deforested land that has little current value locally. Crucially, we do not compete with food crops or deplete local water resources—in fact, we work to improve them.

Transforming Degraded Land into a Source of Prosperity

Instead of poverty-driven slash-and-burn farming, we bring degraded land back to life by planting millions of oil seed producing trees—a species that produces seeds for high-value bioprotein and biofuel.

This approach enables:

  • Mass employment creation in rural communities.
  • Benefit sharing with local landowners, farmers and herders.
  • Sustainable food and energy production from previously unproductive land.

25,000 ha of native habitat restored, financed by the Oil Seed producing Trees

Creating over 2600 local jobs

50,000 ha of Oil Seed trees growing seeds which should annually produce:

150,000,000 litres of biofuel feedstocks

300,000 metric tonnes of plant protein for animal or human consumption

500,000 metric tonnes of biomass for energy from the shells

Sustainable base to enable local infrastructure improvements – roads, power, horticulture etc.

Carbon sequestration of up to 16 million tonnes CO2 equivalent over the life of the project

Help provide fuel and food security to the country
